I have officially lost focus. I need to get back on track. I have things in the process of being finished...things in the process of being started and things in the process of being a process. 

I need to find something to get me out of this rut that I have been in for so long. I try to work through things but I always end up still having no real motivation. And I know it's clearly a mental thing...I can talk about it and write about it but somewhere along the exchange from my brain to my hands, it gets lost. 

Maybe this next 4 days off from work will be the refresher that I need. Who knows...I definitely need it though.

Another week...

I have yet to finish writing up my piece that I wanted to post this week. It's going to probably be a long post so I have been taking my time with it. Maybe I'll finish it in the next couple of days.

I am not going to even lie...

I got nothing this weekend.

I did have an adventure last week though. I was so sick Sunday that I had a trip to the ER in the back of an AMBO. I'm feeling a whole lot better this weekend so there's that...

Anyway, I'll be back next week with something for you guys. I might post earlier in the week, haven't decide yet.

New Work IN Progress . .

Hello faithful few...here is a quick snapshot of what I am working on right now. I am trying to achieve some sort of mastery with these digital sketch apps.

The few times I have used these apps, I have been amazed at how much you can actually do with them. The sketch that I posted I am working on with an app called ArtFlow. I have a couple of other apps that I am trying to get into on my iPad. I'm using ArtFlow on my phone. So I love the fact that I have it so readily accessible whenever I have a spare moment. And it's a plus that it works with the S-pen and is pressure sensitive. So you can achieve hard and soft lines.

I might do a review of the apps I'm trying at a later date. Well that's all I have for you guys this week.

A trip to the Art Store...

So today I went to the art store and I felt overwhelmed...more like a kid in a candy store a pocketful of change or in a toy store with an endless supply of money. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I had a lot of money but I found it hard to decide what to buy. I WANTED IT ALL!

There were times when I was in an aisle and I was just staring off into "artmosphere". It was just so hard to choose exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting a couple canvas panels and 6"X6" wood panels. I also picked up a couple of secret items that I can't share right now because it will spoil a surprise

Today was the first day of my long weekend and I did a little creating and also messed around a bit in photoshop. It's been a minute since I've actually used photoshop so Ive been trying to get used to using it again. Next week I will have some images to show you guys but that's all for now.
