So I am still not finished with this video. And it's such a short video...at this point, I'm wondering if I want to continuously loop it or just leave it at the time it is. (Under 1 min.)
I am also trying to figure out what kind of music I want it to have. This video is beginning to take on a life of its own. I'm not overthink it but I want to get it just right. I want to watch it and go, "OH! That's it, that's were I want to go with it..." I will hopefully finish it in the next week or so.
Also faithful few, the next time I post I will be a year older! Woohoooooo!! Capricorns RULE!!

So for the past 2 weeks, I have been trying to buy some glue. Yes I said 2 weeks and glue. I have been to stores quite a few times with the intention of buying glue only to get sidetracked. Yesterday was the craziest instance.
I went in to the store. Picked up some of the stuff I needed and started towards the aisle with the glue and said, I'll grab it on the way out... Mind you I was really tired from work and just wanted to go home. I got what I needed and left. I did not realize until I was almost home, that I forgot the GLUE!!! That was my main reason for going. Crazy... Hashtag AmIRite? #hashtag (Lol... a little weird, dorky me thing.)
Well that's all I have for you guys this week. I just wanted to share this funny little story with you guys.

I sometimes wonder if I take the easy way out of things.
Your like, "That's a weird way to start a post..."
But follow along with me for a few...
I have been blogging for years but lately sometimes I have found myself reposting blogs/writings across services. In a way its not that strange that I would do something like that. Not everything I post here or on other sites get seen by the same audiences. So by reposting, I get it to reach a little farther.
I used the term "easy" earlier not necessarily to point out something bad but to point out that I been kind of taking shortcuts in doing certain things...in this instances blogging. I've started using the site Medium recently and as I was deciding what I was going to write next for my page on there...I was like, I'll just repost whatever I write there this week here. I noticed this made it harder for me to focus on something at least a little cohesive. What that did though was give me the topic for this post. Brainstorming and contemplating works in mysterious ways.
I glad I could have this discussion with you guys this weekend. That's all I have this weekend faithful few.

Hey now faithful few, I hope you guys had a great week and an even amazing weekend. I finally got a day off today and I did much of nothing today.

I thought I'd share a bit of my new artist statement with you guys. So without further ado...
My work through the years has evolved, devolved and evolved again. Everything I have done so far in my work has been a culmination of experiences, research, pain, love, growth, and maturation.
The focus of my work always gas an underlying theme of mood. That is to say, that no matter the subject or subject matter; my work will always reflect my mood. It won't just reflect my mood because of my style but my mood as a whole. Similar images/subjects may be drawn or painted in the same style but the weight of the line or stroke will be different depending on my mood.
That's all I have written so far. Hopefully I'll finish it in the next few days and I also have forgotten that I have a couple of post that I need to write that I want to share with you guys.

Today I went out for a walk... A sort of walkabout if you will. I didn't have any 70s or 80s music playing as I was doing it but I did snap a few photogs. Some landscapes and some scenic or not so scenic nature scenes. I'm going to go through them over the next few days and see which ones I feel are worthy of posting.
I will definitely share them with you guys. I also have been keeping up with sketching/journaling in my sketchbook everyday. It's been just a little bit over 3 weeks. I am darn right proud of myself.

It's been another one of them weeks for me. I am really going through some things. So I haven't really been myself in awhile. I have almost just been going through the motions.
One thing is for sure it seems like time is really flying...I mean really flying. Just seems like it was the beginning of the year and now we only have 4 more months before it's 2015. Wow 2015!! And my milestone day is fast approaching, crazy. Whowouldhavethunkit!!!

This weekend came up on me so fast. It's like I get so caught up in other things that I seem to get behind in other stuff.
I didn't get around to to finishing the one piece but I did almost finish up the other one I talked about last week. I thought I would share that one with you guys this weekend. So without further ado...

So this past week I have had a lot on my mind. Been dealing with some personal things and the other day they manifested themselves into a work of art. I created piece that I used to clear my head. As I was painting I was allowing the paint to do what it wanted. I was freeing my mind of all thoughts and pouring them onto the canvas.
A sort of darkness emerged but a life can also be seen coming through the darkness...a spark...a light rising...
This was a nice piece for me to do because I had no real expectations of what would come out of doing it. I think I might do this little exercise a lot more. I am including a couple of pics for you guys so you can see what I came up with. Enjoy.
