I have done it...

So I have officially moved my blog to WordPress. I don't have it live yet because I still need to tweak it and work out some bugs but this is one of my last, if not my last, post here on blogspot. I am going to continue to blog every week. So I am not going anywhere any time soon. That's all for now.

Until next week...maybe...

The Week that was…

So last week I was using the Blogger app on my phone, when it crashed on me while it was publishing my post. It kind of sucked because I had talked about me trying to transition from vegetarian to vegan.  Blah. I didn't want to go through the whole process of typing it again so I left it in limbo. I just remembered about it as I was contemplating what I wanted to post this week. I'm going to keep it short and just say that Tuesday of this week will be my 2nd week of being vegan. It's been an easy transition…just don't know yet after the third week if I am going to continue it. That's all I have for now.

Until next week…

A Little Update...

I think in the coming weeks I am going to finally overhaul my blog like I mentioned a while ago. I definitely probably transition my blog from Blogspot to Wordpress.

I also will be posting more random drawings and images that I have been messing around with. I really need to get back to blogging the content the way I used to when I first started this blog. Well that's all I have for you guys this week. Just a little update.

Until next week...

One Year Ago on this Date...

One year ago on this very date (Sep 26), I took a giant leap of faith. I packed up and in the early morning of this date one year ago, I left Baltimore for Charlotte. It has been a very trying year for me...especially the last few months. In some ways I feel as though that's OK. I didn't quite know what to expect when I embarked on this undertaking. This was new territory to me. I left my comfort zone and started anew.

In a way, I usually feel like I'm still just visiting but every time I get paid I brought back to the reality that I'm not still a visitor. (I'm paying NC taxes, lol) I am finding being from somewhere else is also a good conversation starter as well. I've had small talk(which is weird because I hate small talk) with people who almost always immediately pick up on my accent. I proudly say I am from Baltimore.

I miss Baltimore...I'm not going to lie. I miss my family, I miss my friends...I miss that energy Baltimore has and one about my O's...Eutaw Street is going to be rocking next month. I think once I get back on track, I'll go back to visit for a few days. Or I will make it my mission to get back at least twice a year.

Well as I begin year 2 of my transition, I hope things look much brighter on the other side of the trees. That's all I have for you guys this week.

Until next week...
