No...No...It's not even finished yet...

So I am still not finished with this video. And it's such a short video...at this point, I'm wondering if I want to continuously loop it or just leave it at the time it is. (Under 1 min.)

I am also trying to figure out what kind of music I want it to have. This video is beginning to take on a life of its own. I'm not overthink it but I want to get it just right. I want to watch it and go, "OH! That's it, that's were I want to go with it..." I will hopefully finish it in the next week or so.

Also faithful few, the next time I post I will be a year older! Woohoooooo!! Capricorns RULE!!
That's it for now.

Until next week...

Last day of January...

It is already the end of January. In a few short hours it will be February. And for me it looks like the turnover of the calendar is like a new page turning.

I am feeling really optimistic about the coming months. Getting back on track and regaining a sense of control seems within reach. I feel a tinge of excitement brewing within me. I can't wait to share with you guys, mostly everything... Somethings I still want to hold in to for a while.

Until next week...

New Year...

Hey faithful few...welcome to the year 2014!

So I decided that I would give you guys my main New Years' Resolutions.

  1. I must make sure that I am staying motivated.
  2. I will try to get to know my new city a little better.
  3. I will create more ART
  4. And my last real resolution is; I want to learn Screenprinting.

As you can see, these are pretty simple ones. I don't have anything to extravagant. Plus most resolutions are a gimme; "like get and stay healthy," "do better than you did last year," and "be responsible, financially."

I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys all year. That's all I have for you guys this week.

Until next time...

-Namaste

Reflecting or the Art of Reflection...

I have a Note to my 28yr old self post coming soon. I just started a new painting today and unfortunately I can't post any pic of it. Its a gift and I don't want to spoil it:-). Let's see...last week this time I was celebrating my glorious birthday. Its amazing how time flies when you are enjoying the moment though right? In some ways I wish I could freeze time and just live in the moment. There are a lot of of instances where I would do things differently and some where I would hold on to certain things.

Don't get me wrong, its nice to move on but sometimes its always fun to bask in all the glorious gloritude of the thrill of things. All too frequently we get caught up in the zen of life (which is not a bad thing) but sometimes its OK to hold on to fleeting moments. Sometimes it's better to savor and enjoy the moment. There have been plenty of times where I dwelled on a moment. Now when I say dwell, I don't mean over think...I mean spend some time to reflect. Reflection is a powerful thing.

That's all I have for you guys today but like I said earlier, I have a Note to my 28yr old self post coming soon. I just have to decide how I'm going to do. Until then...

Crunch Time

Hey there happy people. How was you guys New Year? How did the rest of your week go. Its getting close to my deadline for this sketchbook. I have to have it.postmarked a week from today but I will have it done before that. Hopefully by my birthday on Wednesday:-) Yes my blogospherian friends this blogger next week will celebrate a birthday. I am looking forward to it. I don't know what it is but I always get up for my birthday. I am always extremely excited about my bday. Now I just have to beat this cold I have before that AMAZING day.
